There has been a number of Staff changes since the last Magazine. Mr. N. Packer has joined us from Ladysmith S.M. School. Exeter, and Mr. H. Ellis has left us to take a position at Hastings. While Miss Nicholls has been absent as the result of an accident, Mrs. Grant has supervised the Girls' Games.

Miss Morgan is to retire at the end of this term and a tribute to her work for the School is on page 2.

We offer our congratulations and best wishes, somewhat belatedly, to Mr. and Mrs. Fudge. We wish them every happiness in their married life.

Our School Plays, "Antigone" by Jean Anouilh, and "A Jubilee" by Chehov, were put on in the Spring Term. A report appears elsewhere in this magazine.

A party of Sixth Formers visited St. Luke's College to see a production of "Hamlet".

There were the annual functions at the end of the Autumn Term. The Carol Service was held at All Saints', and, as usual, members of the Staff and School were responsible for the readings. The Form Parties were as noisy as they were successful and more congested than ever before.

National Savings for the Autumn and Spring Terms amounted to £68 1 Ss.

Attention is drawn to the special notice on the last page of this magazine which particularly concerns those leaving the School this year, and those who have left recently.

For two years running, the D'Oyly Carte Opera Company has visited the Theatre Royal, Exeter. Three years ago we had to make what was almost a pilgrimage to see the Company at Bournemouth; thus we were delighted to see them again at Exeter, so near at hand, and forty of the School thoroughly enjoyed their first night performance of "The Yeomen of the Guard" on June 1st.
